Browse or search bibliography concerning the Aegean and Balkan prehistory.
The searchable bibliography contains currently more then 800 entries covering the northern and central Aegean, the Balkans and western Anatolia during the 2nd millennium but extending to late 3rd and early 1st millennia as well. It does not claim any degree of completeness but rather intends to offer a working tool for those interested in the mentioned periods and areas. The database will continuously be updated.
Note, that the search function is somewhat limited due to the use of Greek and Cyrillic. All authors names are principally in Latin script, no matter what the language of the contribution is. In case a given article or book was published in Greek or Cyrillic, you have to use the respective characters to search for any words from the title. One can search the database using also the pre-defined list of sites and regions, which is also in Latin only.
Any suggestions for inclusion of further relevant literature into the database are most welcomed and can be submitted at pavuk@fphil.uniba.sk using the AJA bibliographic system.
