Credits and Team

The Aegeo-Balkan Prehistory is a joint project between the Department of Archaeology of the Comenius University in Bratislava and the Austrian Archaeological Institute in Vienna, represented by Dr. Peter Pavúk and Dr. Barbara Horejs.

The creation, programming, editing and further organisation of the web-site was made possible by grant SK-05/06-BA-011 from the Austrian Science and Research Liaison Office (ASO) in Bratislava, within the program Promotion of a Durable Research and Development Co-operation, sponsored by the Austrian Bundesministerium für Bildung, Wissenschaft und Kultur. The program was co-ordinated by the Slovak Academic Information Agency, with Mag. Michal Fedák as the responsible person.

Further expenses were covered by research grants from the Slovak Grant Agency VEGA 1/1211/04 and 1/4533/07.

The lay-out, programming and part of the editorial work was carried out by Peter Demján, who was also responsible for a number of smaller and larger improvements in the structure of the web-site. Stanislava Repková helped with the bibliographic database and Dr. Emily Schalk kindly reviewed the English contributions. Bogdan Atanassov, M.A. helped with the co-ordination of the Bulgarian contributions and also supplied a list of useful web-links. Further web-links were kindly supplied by Mgr. Andrej Čelovský and Dr. Luca Girella.
